New Services and Giveaway! Chicago Area Children Photographer

Many of you have already heard the big news about Just Peachy Photography's new services and many of you haven't.  If you receive our new newsletter, you probably read about it first!  I'm going to share with the rest of you now that Just Peachy now does photo scanning and archiving as well as photo retouching and restoration.  I will be posting details of our new services soon but if you want to try them out you can enter our giveaway here!  These services will be available late April but you can get your orders in now if you want!

On to the giveaway!

The first place winner will receive a certificate good for 100 personal printed photos (under the size of an 8x10 print) to be scanned and archived on a digital cd.  The winner MUST be the owner of the photographs and be willing to sign a document letting Just Peachy Photography that you are and allow use of photos of the process for marketing purposes.  The cd will have a personal image from one of your photos printed on it and will include a custom case as well.  They can be shipped, delivered or picked up locally.

The second place winners, 3 in all,  will receive photo retouching or restoration of one of their favorite photos.  Again, the winners MUST be owners of the photographs and be willing to sign a document letting Just Peachy Photography know that you are and allow use photos of the process for marketing purposes (mainly before and after photos).   Transferring of this image will take place by email only.

The third place winner will receive a $50 session fee or print credit for their next paid session booked with Just Peachy Photography.  This cannot be used with any other promotions or discounts.

I'm just having SO much fun editing all of the newborn images from recent sessions!  Here is another sneak preview from Baby W's session yesterday!  I think I might have said, "Aww," over 100 times!  He is just so sweet and new!  Love those toes too!

7 Days Old-Love Those Lips--Chicago Area Newborn Photographer

I knew I was going to have fun with little, W, today but I was even surprised by how much!  He is just so sweet and those lips!  To die for!  W was just the perfect little model today and wasn't too fond of his taking his diaper but we got some super sweet images with it on.  Mom got a little surprise when we tried but she was a good sport about it!

Well K Family, here is a sneak peek from our session this morning!  I just couldn't make to show you one of my favorites from the session!  Of course I have WAY too many favorites as always! 

I will try to post at least one more tonight!  Thanks again for allowing me to capture these precious moments of your son's first week and for making it such a great session!

One Year Old Cutie!

I love this portrait of T, a one year old cutie!  Yes, he is mine!  Am I a little biased, perhaps!

The problem is that he only let me get a few snaps with my camera and went into melt down mode, so on to part 2 really soon but I had to finally get this image up from a few weeks ago because it is SO him!  The mischievous little man is ready to pull his hat off here.  Enjoy!

Beautiful 10 day Newborn

Yesterday I got to go and meet little 10 day old, C, and congratulation her proud parents and helpful sisters!  She made us work for her portraits and didn't want to sleep but we did get some beautiful images of her sleeping and awake.  After about 3 hours, we felt that she was done and were happy with the day's work.  I think you'll agree that she is just beautiful.

Spring Cutest Kid Contest

In case you haven't heard the BIG news yet, Just Peachy Photography is hosting a Cutest Kid Contest in April!

I have slowly share all of the wonderful participants with you over the past week and each of our winners (one from each age category) will win over $600 in fabulous prizes!

To sum everything up....

Just Peachy Photography is hosting a Cutest Kid Contest! Beginning on April 15th, you will be able to submit a photo of your cutest kid through email. You will have 2 weeks to send your child's photo to us to be entered into the contest.  Voting starts May 1st!

There are 2 categories in this contest and therefore 2 BIG winners!  The first one is babies ages 0-1 year old and the second is children ages 1-5 years old.  

The winner of each category will receive a FREE portrait session with Just Peachy Photography, as well as a portrait package, including 1 8x10, 2 5x7's, 2 4x6's and one set of 8 wallets of full edited images of their choice.  

The winners will also receive prizes from a few other local businesses with some fabulous prizes!  I will introduce one of each of these wonderful businesses and their donations to the contest each day after this announcement!

Here are the details or rules of the contest:

TO ENTER

* One entry per child
* You must be the parent or legal guardian of the child you enter into the contest
* Child must be exactly 1 year or younger on the date of entry for category one OR 1-5 years old on the date of entry for category two
* You must have permission/rights to use the photo you enter (cannot be taken by professional/no watermarked or heavily edited images)
* Photo must have been taken in the last 6 months
* Photos will be accepted from April 15th, 2011 at 12:01 am CST until April 30th, 2011 at 11:59 pm CST via e-mail
* Only photos e-mailed to Erika@justpeachyphotog.com with the Subject line JUST PEACHY PHOTOGRAPHY CONTEST during the previously mentioned time will be accepted
* Include your child's name and age (in months under 1 year old) in the e-mail (first name and age will be posted for viewing), as well as your name and contact information (full name, email phone numberm, city and state)
* Contest open to everyone, however if you live outside of a 20 mile radius from Palatine, IL, you must choose a location within 20 miles of Palatine, IL for your prize session, or a travel fee will be charged of 85 cents per mile, each direction, beyond 20 (limited to 35 miles)


HOW PHOTOS WILL BE JUDGED

* All entries will be uploaded into an album by Just Peachy Photography no later than May 1st, 2011, on our facebook fan page.     http://www.facebook.com/justpeachyphotog
* To vote for a photo you MUST be a 'fan' (or under the new facebook system 'like') Just Peachy Photography (that is the only way to comment or “like” the photo to vote)--please explain this to friends and family you send there to vote
* Click 'like' for the photo you are voting for in the Just Peachy Photography album labeled 'Spring 2011 Cutest Kid Contest'  (there be two folders-choose the correct age category with your child)

* Make sure you post the contest on your page and tell people why you want to win to get them to vote!  Voting only takes a minute or two!
* Photo with the most 'likes' will be the winner. Comments permitted, but WILL NOT count towards the total number of votes
* Voting will close May 16th, 2011 at 10:00 am CST
* Official winner will be notified and announced on the Just Peachy Photography blog no later than May 20th, 2011.


WHAT YOU WILL WIN

* The parent or legal guardian of the child in the photo that receives the most 'likes' will receive a free family portrait session with Just Peachy Photography, 1 8x10 photo, 2 5x7 photos, 2 4x6 photos, and 1 set of 8 wallets as well as prizes by other participating vendors (to be announced soon).
* Photo session must be booked within 30 days of winning, and completed before October 15th, 2011.
* Prize retail value of $250 plus other vendor prizes can NOT be altered or changed in any way, and not redeemable for cash
* Additional prints and products will be available for purchase at retail prices provided from Just Peachy Photography (email for product guide)
* No other promotions or discounts can be applied
