Another Fun Night at the Beach--Chicago Area Family Photographer

I had so much fun with this family tonight!  We went to one of my favorite locations and although the lighting wasn't ideal, we came out of there with some amazing images!  Seriously, it was just too hard to choose again!  I just love all of them!  They showed me their amazing relationships and one family even brought their adorable poodle.  Don't worry!  I included him too! 

Also I love that this photo session was a surprise for someone's birthday.  I'm sure they will love their gift to pieces!

I sure hope this lovely family loves these images as much as I do!

3 Year Old Sweetheart--Chicago Area Child Photography

The weather was perfect!  The location was perfect!  The 3 year old sweetheart I photographed tonight was perfect! 

I had such a great time with L and her family tonight!  We got to dip our feet in the water, play in the sand, go up and down a hill and run around in the summer grass!  What could be more fun or perfect?   I love my job!

I can't wait to show the L Family the rest of their images but for now here is a sneak preview!

12 Day Old Newborn--Chicago Area Newborn Photography

Today I was so blessed to photograph a dear friend's newborn.  She had three beautiful girls and just had a baby boy to complete her perfect family.  I'm so happy for the G Family and was so excited to get to photograph their 12 day sweetheart.  Little A is very special and already has a lot of love surrounding him.  I will enjoy watching him grow!

Just Peachy Photography--Father's Day Contest 2011

Just Peachy Photography is hosting a Father's Day Contest as requested by our wonderful fans!

Here is how it is going to work!

Beginning Monday, June 13^th, you will be able to submit a photo of your child(ren) playing with their Dad or Grandfather. This should be an action shot (no posed). I would like to see tickling, laughing, playing, etc. You get the idea!

All of the photos will be uploaded to an album on our facebook page. Each family will have to give us the first name of the man in the photo. If we have two of the same name, I will request a last name initial. Also send me your contact information in the email with the photo. Your name, address, phone number, email address and make sure you give your consent to use the photo for the contest.

2 winners will be chosen:

The 1^st place winner will be chosen based on the most votes it gets and will receive a free portrait session with Just Peachy Photography, as well as a portrait package, including 1 8x10, 1 5x7, 2 4x6's and one set of 8 wallets. They will also win a $25 Target Gift Card to pick out some cute new clothes for their kids!

The 2^nd place winner will be chosen by me, Erika Williams, the owner of Just Peachy Photography. I will base it on which one I think captures the emotion of the relationship between Father/Grandfather and child. They will win a Day in the Life of (Your Child's Name) Specialty Session.

Here are the details:

TO ENTER

* One entry per family
* You must be the parent or legal guardian of the child(ren) in the photos you are entering into the contest
* You must have permission/rights to use the photo you enter and it CANNOT be a professionally taken photo
* Photo must have been taken in the last month (I recommend taking one on Father's Day)
* Photos will be accepted from Monday, June 13, 2011 until Monday, June 20, 2011 via e-mail
* Only photos e-mailed to Erika@justpeachyphotog.com with the Subject line JUST PEACHY PHOTOGRAPHY CONTEST during the previously mentioned time will be accepted
* Include your First Name in the e-mail as well as your contact information (as stated above)
* Contest open to everyone, however if you live outside of a 20 mile radius from Palatine, IL, you must choose a location within 20 miles of Palatine, IL for your prize session

HOW PHOTOS WILL BE JUDGED

* All entries will be uploaded into an album by Just Peachy Photography no later than Tuesday, June 21st on our facebook fan page
* To vote for a photo you MUST be a 'fan' (or under the new facebook system 'like') Just Peachy Photography (that is the only way to comment or “like” the photo to vote)
* Click 'like' for the photo you are voting for in the Just Peachy Photography album labeled “Father's Day Contest 2011”
* Comments permitted, but WILL NOT count towards the total number of votes for our 1^st place winner
* Voting will close Friday, July 1, 2011 at 10 PM CST.
* Official winner will be notified and announced on the Just Peachy Photography blog no later than Sunday, July 3, 2011 at 10 PM CST.

One Year Old Cutest Kid Contest Winner, Siquem!

Yesterday, I had the chance to meet one of our adorable Cutest Kid Contest winners!  Siquem just turned one year old shortly after the contest ended so his mom thought that would be a perfect time for some portraits!  I had a lot of fun with Siquem and his family and we found a beautiful location right before sunset for the best light!  Siquem was hamming it up for the camera and loved watching the planes in the air.  His mom said he is a big fan of owls and he brought a ball with him which he seemed to love as well.
