One More Holiday Session

I think this is my last session of the year. Little C turned 2 this month so Mom wanted some of him and then we got the rest of the family in too (even their sweet dog). I think this is my last session of 2009! It was a great session and I'm so thankful for all of the people who allowed me into their lives and trusted me to capture their precious memories this year! I hope 2010 will be as fun and inspiring!

My next session should be of my newborn baby boy who is due to be born in 5 weeks! I can't wait to photograph him!

I should be resuming sessions in late January or early February for those of you who were wondering. I will make an announcement here on my blog.

Last month I also got to photography a new family of cuties! The J Family had me take some photographs of their family, close up's of their 4 month old little girl, and some of their 3 year old as well. I had a great time with all of them. Here are some of my favorites from that session.

Attempt at a Self Portrait-My Maternity Session

I have been playing around with a one-light set up at home and decided to try my luck at some maternity photos of myself. I've never done a self portrait but thought it would be fun and a good experience to grow as a photographer. I was happy with some of them but also didn't finish editing the whole set yet so there may be more to come. This was taken at 32 weeks along or about 8 months out of 10.

A Sleigh Ride With 3 Cute Kids

Fall Fun!

Here are some favorites of my boys from fall. The first ones are at the local zoo and then there are some from Halloween too.

I have many options of Holiday cards available and a few time slots open until the holiday season is over. I come to your house and take all of the pictures there so that you don't have to go anywhere or wait in any lines. You pick the time that is convenient for you! Session fees are only $75 this year and include a 1-2 hour session, 30-40 edited proofs and my time and travel.

Since it IS the holidays and I'm in a giving mood, I'm offering 10 FREE holiday cards (4x8) size and a $10 off coupon for your next session's print order to anyone who books a session for December between the 1st and 20th. Time is running out!

November is a special time of year! For one, it is my birthday month! For another it is the month starting the rush of the holidays and gift giving. Finally, and most importantly, it is a time to give thanks for what we have!

Portrait Party Packages

I just wanted to take a minute to introduce the idea of Portrait Party Packages! They are great for the holidays to get a quick portrait of your children for the holidays or to frame as a one of a kind gift, they are inexpensive and ,of course, a LOT of fun!!!

You can sign up to host a children's portrait party at your home or local park for you and 5 or more of your friends. I will spend about 10 minutes with each child and provide about 5 proofs of each child in a group proof gallery from your party. Each child has to submit a minimum print order of $35 but there is no session fee. This does not include family group shots. Each child gets one complimentary 4x6 print from their mini session. Hosts earn complimentary prints from sales made at the party. Please contact me for more information or questions about this event.

If you sign up for a party for this year (2009) by November 15th, you as a host will receive another 8x10 print ($10 value) in addition to the prints you earn from the party's sales!

3 Week Old Baby Girl--September 12, 2009

Maternity and Family Session-July 26th, 2009

The J Family is expecting their second little girl in October and spent a day in the park together. I was able to capture some of these sweet moments with them.
